#30.Everyday

Everyday,
My beloved life is a chore,
I sit and stare for ages to come,
Into this blur of my future.

I stopped,
Just like my heart,
Waiting for you,
Waiting for love.

My minute existence,
Our epic romance,
My infinite boredom,
I’m confused.

Where are you?
You just vanished,
It’s like I sold my soul,
For this insanity.

It still hurts,
Yet I await you,
One day,
Everyday.

Thank You,

Arjun Rajeev

Introduction

Greetings dear reader,

I am Arjun Rajeev.

I am a student living in the oh-so-apparent concrete jungle of the world, the United Arab Emirates.

I have started this blog to channel all my poetry into one single place.

Writing has always been my passion. I like writing short stories but poetry has always been my niche. It is interesting to let all emotions and stories flow into words and finally publish it as a poem.

My favorite poet is Robert Frost and his poem, ‘Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening’ happens to be a personal favorite because of the simple language and feeling of calmness. His poems are closely associated with love and mother nature. This feature is truly appreciated by me.

I appreciate all comments, critiques and suggestions. If you have any ideas or suggestions, please share it with me. I am fueled by you, the wonderful reader.

Have a nice day,

Arjun Rajeev
